[expert] Wine does not work. Help needed...

Hello,
Does someone know why I can not run wine 
(wine-990518-3mdk, wine-debug-990518-3mdk)  on venus ?

Following are results of my attempt to run well known app:
[root@tomato ttf]# wine /msdos/windows/sol.exe
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
/usr/X11R6/bin/wine-debug: Can't open display: (none specified)

By the way, I use xfsft ttf font server.
