mke2fs /dev/hdx will create a new ext2 file system. mkdosfs will create a
dos file system. :-) I have never tried "mkvfatfs" though, so I don't know
if it'll work. ;-) Anyway, the correct answer is "mke2fs /dev/hdx" where x
is replaced by the drive letter and number of your new hard drive partition.
