I've tried to install mandrake on and off for the last several months
without any luck. pcmcia support for a network install has never
worked for me. The latest error in cooker is:

+ ./network: /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup: not found

on one laptop. On the second I get an oops to do with starting
cardmgr. Network card is a 3C589D.

Has anyone ever installed mandrake via a network pcmcia install?

I think it might be better if I generate the boot and pcmcia disks
myself. Can anyone point me to instructions/hints on doing this?

Cheers,

Paul
