I'm running 6.0 as a gateway on Cable.
I would like to use window's outlook or any other mail program to check mail
that have account on the gateway machine.
I can receive mail but can't send anything out via
the windows machines. I can send if the user is logged into (telnet) the
gateway machine. This use to be an easy fix on Redhat 5.0 by install the
imap package but can't get it to work with Mandrake. I have looked
everywhere but can't find a simple straight answer without
trying to learn all of Sendmail (sorry sendmail
config is beyond my understanding and I have tried many times...just end up with
a useless system).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
