Hi Bernhard, hi all at Mandrakesoft
Just an example:
Every time I read a multipart MIME message with Gnus, Gnus
could not handle this message and showed an error message:
metamail: invalid mailcap entry : application/pdf: xpdf %s
So I looked at /etc/mailcap and found the above line.
I reported to [EMAIL PROTECTED]:

As you can see you can easily reproduce this bug (you just have to
look at the file)and a bug fix is included. Futhermore this bug
breaks other packages (metamail and every mailreader and newsreader
which uses metamail). And I have submitted the bug some hours before
Gal Duval announced Cassini.
And today I downloaded the mailcap package from 6.1 (Helios)
and the bug is still present.
And obviously all other bug reports to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
during the beta test phase of Cassini were ignored too.
So I really dont't know why Mandrakesoft makes a beta test at all.
Sorry if you at Mandakesoft think I am bashing you.
But I'm using Linux since 1993 and Mandrake is the first
Linux Distribution I'm using which seems ro ignore
bug reports by users completely.
Regards
Harald
