This may be the problem.. I didn't get a chance to play around too much with
it last night but when I ran linux conf to configure Lilo it gave a kernel
is too big error, so this may be the problem. In your experience do you
think that would be the case? The thing is, the kernel is only something
like 460K, under slack I used to use kernels that where in the range of 500k
or more sometimes.
