Simply download and install openssl and mod_ssl from
http://crypto.linux-mandrake.com/download

Those packages are built for apache 1.3.9 that's in Mandrake 6.1.

It comes with a test certificate so you can start using it right now. If
you're planning to get a certificate, I strongly suggest Thawte, they are
$125 US for a year.

<shameless plug>
My company, NetRevolution, has a partnership with Thawte, so I can order
it for you and install it at no additional cost, it's part of my job.
