[expert] Please help with install on laptop

Can anyone help me?  I am attempting to install Mandrake 6.1 on a Compaq
Armada laptop via ftp.  In order for this to work, the installation
needs to recognize my PCMCIA 3Com589 network card.  When I am prompted
for a driver 3c589 is not in the list and none of the other drivers seem
to work.  I have searched many newsgroups and HOWTOs to no avial.  Any
suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
