I did an 'everything' install of Mandrake 6.1 and was surprised to
discover that an /opt/kde directory was created.
The sole offending rpm is xsoldier-0.96-5mdk (packager Chmouel
Boudjnah) - the file list shows xsoldier.kdelink to be placed in
/opt/kde/share/applink/Games. Nothing else in this rpm goes in /opt.
I did a temporary fix by moving xsoldier.kdelink to
/usr/share/applink/Games, deleting everything below /opt and placing a
symbolic link in /opt called kde and pointing to /usr.
This situation is a candidate for a new rpm available through
http://www.linux-mandrake/updates/6.1
