Alan You cannot download the G2 beta for linux here. If you follow
this link you get to
http://www.real.com/products/player/index.html
And here you can only download the version 5.0 for linux, not the G2
beta.
I downloaded the beta from
http://www.real.com/products/player/linux.html
I found this URL at http://www.freshmeat.net/
I downloaded the version Linux 2.0/2.2 and it works fine.
