[expert] Suggestions for removeable media via parallel port

The time has come to buy a portable storage device 
(a couple of notebook users need to exchange megabytes of files).

I've got a few days (believe it or not) before the users must have this.

Any recommendations out there?


Did I fail to mention the notebooks all run Mandrake 6.1?
All have the usual(?) ports nowadays: USB, IR, serial, parallel, PCMCIA.
