This is probably not a Linux Mandrake specific thing, but I think
that it has merit. For instance, in a dual boot machine, the
MSDOS partition could be mounted and then written out to a CD.
It would then be nice if the CD could be bootable and made to
restore the CD image to the MSDOS partition. This would be
a dynamite backup. It is almost impossible to do in Win95/98/DOS
as certain files will not copy over. But Linux would have no
such trouble.
As for the EULA, it does allow for archival or backup copies.
I like it. Take a snapshot of your Win98 machine and its the
perfect backup!
