I've got the IDE version - won't work as a removable drive on Linux - had to
move it to NT to use it like that. The manufacturers say there are Linux
people working on Linux drivers but they don't respond to e-mail when I try
to find out specifically WHO is doing this work. I won't be getting any
more until I see something substantial (and I have quite a few machines I
could use them in) - I have a worry the company won't last long.

>Anyone heard of Linux using "The Orb", ? Its a 2.2 gig removable media
>at $199 plus 30$ a 2.2 gig disk, definitely the best buy on the market.
>Been out less than a year. Scsi, Parallel, or internal IDE>

>I would like one myself. If anyone else has any experience with these
>please let us know !!!
