[expert] Truetype fonts...

Hello, 

I
%m trying to run truetype fonts under XFree86. I supose that I need to run 
the xfs daemon, but what changes do I need to make under /etc/X11/XF86Config to 
bind the fonts directories to the xfs daemon ? and how do I enable this fonts 
under KDE ?. 
Does it make a big difference between using truetype and non truetype fonts ?.
