i assume that "--irix-session-management mean" is harmless on linux. am i
right? how can i get rid of the starting page of mandrake?

I'm using the netscape-4.7-rpms from the RedHat updates since
a few days. If you are using KDE you have to remove the option
"--irix-session-management" from the RedHat wrapper script.
