Well, I'm using DHCP for my IP since the static stuff STILL didn't work,
but at least I have a stable connection now. My new problem is when I
run httpd, I can see the default index page fine, but it won't run any
cgi files on my machine. It says "Forbidden" whenever a html page calls
the scripts, even though I set the permissions to 777. What's the deal?

Oh, my httpd daemon started acting weird, too -- I used to have to run
it with the line

httpd -d /home/httpd -f /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

but now it just screws up when I do. I have to just run "httpd" now and
it seems to work. I haven't edited any config files.

What the heck is going on?
