Not necessarily.
I use it to direct [EMAIL PROTECTED] Email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
That way, people can send Email to [EMAIL PROTECTED], sendmail at that
domain sees the alias in place and redirects the message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Works great.
But what I'm LOOKING for is an alias or sendmail setup that will catch all
incoming Email that will normally bounce back to the sender because the
user account or a matching alias does not exist, and redirect the message
to another user account or alias...
I had seen on one domain that they used an alias to catch everything and
send it to one account. It was
*: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Trouble is, that doesn't seem to work under Mandrake 6.0... So I'm looking
for something that WILL work.
Any suggestions? I've also posted to comp.mail.sendmail but haven't heard
anything yet.
