as a matter a fact, you don't have to create new user just to get 'clean
start', just:
- delete ~/.enlightenment
- use 'stock' theme provided by Enlightenment (BlueSteel, BrushedMetal,
and ShinyMetal), and if you like to try theme from e.themes.org,
use theme which is rating excellent like AbsoluteE.
- to configure Enlightenment use Configuration Menu, don't use e-conf
i have Enlightenment 0.16.0 binary rpm for download:

this is 'stripped' version of Enlightenment with no sound support.
