Ok for those that just joined us, let me repeat.
:( we can't run sndconfig with the boot kernel, as it differs from what
ultimatly gets installed on the system. I'm pretty sure we couldn't even
fit the sound module ability into the kernel and grab the modules from the
install media. It would be trivial to add sndconfig to the
mandrake_firsttime script, of course it's pure speculation if that will
work out ok without causeing any problems.
