[expert] Sendmail Buggy? Craps out on Multiple hits

I've had numerous problems with mandrake and Suse linux doing this.  The
mail server craps out after multiple send/rec hits.. the port locks up and
can only be re-init'ed via -HUP inetd.. any answers??
