I've been reading about Secure Web Server for Apache, and I am puzzled. I've read about mod_ssl. Will this allow you to do secure web server without recompiling apache? I've looked at the MIT cookbook, but it is very out of date, and I'm puzzled there also. Many things are implied in terms of current knowledge. What is the simplest way to set up a secure web server using Mandrake or RedHat and Apache on an existing installation? bug
