Dear friends:

I have Unchecked Linuxconf and nsf from ntsysv (i.e. #ntsysv) and have
commented out Linuxconf in /etc/inetd.conf.

After making the changes yesterday, I rebooted. The boot sequence went
fine EXCEPT for one error towards the end:

"Starting sentry nfs: server pid@adsl1-77-232-189;/net not responding,
still trying"

Ramon Gandia tells me that Sentry is looking for NSF in order to block
it but it is no longer there. He says that I am doing right to uncheck
NSF, which is a major security hole. I am a single desktop user of a
single Linux machine so I obviously don't need that.

The only problem is how to get rid of this error message. Ramon says I
should edit the Sentry.conf file to get rid of the error but he is not
familiar with Sentry.

Could someone please lend me a helping hand with this.

Would appreciate your help.

Thanks as always.
