YES!!!!! I'm using KMail right now, which is a KDE/Linux mail reader.

program called "sendmail"???
Sendmail comes with Mandrake as well as most other distributions. So,
yes, I'd say it works QUITE well... :-)
If you mean how (technically) does it work? I'm not sure. You
configure a few text-based config files or get a configuration
program (I've heard there is one for Sendmail) and run it, answer a
few questions and you're off! :-)
