Hey All,

I was trying to recompile the stock kernel in 6.1 and trying to get rid of
unnecessary drivers (non modules) and I thought I did a pretty good job
(taking out support for ISDN, PPP etc...) Nonetheless, the resulting
kernel was bigger than the live one shipped with Mandrake. I assume that
the defaults from make config would then make it be quite a bit bigger,
which implies that the mandrake configuration is different... is there a
way to figure out a config from a live kernel? or is there something I'm
missing?

Thanks!

Art
