[expert] Mouse config hangs

    I have recently tried to install Mandrake6.1 on a hp omnibook.
Everything goes smoothly until the mouseconfig part of the install
hangs. The message on the screen is:
Probing found some type of PS/2 mouse on port psaux.
The keyboard and the mouse get locked up and I have to reboot. Does
anyone know what is happening?
