Download and run ncFTPD.  It is a lot easier to configure than the wu-ftp and 
bero-ftpd packages that Mandrake packages.  However, you should be able to FTP right 
away IF the ftp package was installed.  Run "netstat -l |grep ftp" to check.

Hi Derek, 

The FTP server should already be configured to do this...at least it was
for me.  I think to add support for this if it doesn't exist would require
that you add something like to following to /etc/ftpaccess:

class   all   real,guest,anonymous  *

The key here being "real"
