Be carefull when creating the CD, it uses ISO9660 long
file name support; and screwed up the first disc because
of it.

Install:
+The boot manager: Much like "Loading Win9x" you can hold
(shift/CapsLock key, I can't remember which) key and have
 access to "diagnositic" functions;
-although I found that it didn't really work to my liking.

+Graphical partition manager: OK
-Partition Management: I didn't try all the features, but I
wanted to install Corel Linux on a separate HD than my
main HD (tried to squeeze it in 500Meg HD) and it would
only let me use half of it. I didn't go for the overwrite
"brand new" install cause I didn't want to loose my Win9x
 partition. Must play GTA2.
-Logitech serial mouse didn't work during the install

OS:
+Fixed mouse
+Nice look, nice feel.
+Like the skin on XMMS.
+File Manager: Since I came from a Windblow$ world I'm used
to drag and dropping stuff in a certian way, so I was
 rather impressed Corel's file manager.
+Setup of Samba Services: Gotta Like it! Able to browse
windows networks /w little difficulty. No manual editing
 of smb.conf at all.

NOTE:I hope more Linux Distributions make SAMBA this easy,
I'm of the opinion that to make Linux mainstream, it needs
a simplified meathod of talking to Windows Networks.

-I kept on flippin' virtual deskops when my mouse flew to
the sides of the screen, and couldn't find a way to disable
 it.
-(I know, if it ain't broke, don't fix it) I tried to test
colour depth/switching and lost my video card's ability
to display 1024x768x32bit, and couldn't find a way to
 recreate my video card settings.
-Can't install the download edition of WordPerfect,Corel
Linux happens to be missing a file.
-Missing a services manager (or I coundn't find one) Having
a ADSL connection to the 'net doesn't mean I want Internet
users using my computer as an FTP server. As an
network/home user I would be definately wanted those
services disabled by default, and a nice way of turning
them on should I need them.

Only used it for about 1 day (Can't stand KDE in only 8bit
color).Now I'm trying Redhat 6.1 cause I wanted to see if I
burned the ISO Image correctly. Yep it works, thats how I
know GNOME is broken.

I expect I'll be going back to Mandrake pretty fast (I miss
my imwheel!)

Anyways, Read ya in the listserv,
