Well, now that you're in the expert mailinglist, maybe you should think about compiling the kernel from .tar.gz or .tar.bz2 download sources. That's simple, and you don't have to wait for that RPM. Oh, and why not using 2.3? Most are stable, only one out of twenty doesn't work on my system, and there's funny thing, ie: I found a driver for my network card in 2.3.18; since 2.3.15, hard disk access are FAR faster...
