Check that /etc/localtime points to the correct timezone
Check that your hardware clock is really set to GMT
Once the above are correct (and amke sure they are correct _first_), run
"rdate -s time.nist.gov" once a day. I put the following script in
/etc/cron.daily:
#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/rdate -s time.nist.gov
