Dear friends:
1) Can't SAVE:
I can't figure this out: I can't save any new documents:
When I open a new window in StarWriter and type in text and try to save
it I get the following error message:
"Error while saving document Untitled 1:
Object not accessible
The object cannot be accessed
due to insufficient user rights."
How could this be when my StarOffice is installed in my /home/sher
directory and every file and directory has my username permissions.
Please see below:

2) Can't BACKUP:
I just opened a text document in StarWriter which was originally a WP8
for Linux document, which I then converted to MSWord 6 and then to Star
.sdw format. Everything is fine, except for the fact that I cannot
create a backup copy, even though I checked the "Always create backup
copy" under Options, Save. I get an error message (no error number) that
says simply:
"Could not create backup copy"
I tried to copy and paste it into a new document window and then save it
under a new name. Didn't help.
The paths to Work folder and backup folder are to /home/sher/docs. I
tried the default as well. Neither option works. Same difference.
I consulted my 1,500 page Que "Using StarOffice." There is nothing there
that explains what is happening either relative to my saving or back up
problem.
Would really appreciate some insight into this.
Thanks so much.
Benjamin
