There will be a slider labeled something like "Choose the installed size",
you'll want to set this as low as it goes.

Check /usr/src/linux/Documentation/Changes, for what the kernel needs.

As for rebuilding the rpms _all_ the -devel packages and a dozen or so
that still need split into a -devel package , and a couple that had the
-devel package removed.
