1. I read your original message. SMTP_SERVER is not a single address -- In
other words, more than one relay agent may answer out there--this is likely the
source of the problem. If they are confined to a particular address space, you
could use 24.0.0.0/24 in place of $SMTP_SERVER for example. If their address
is more uncertain than that, then $ANYWHERE will work and you will need to
relay on security for mail by setting up your local mailserver properly.
