Dear Stephen and Ramon: Rarely have I been gotten such a thrill as discovering kvt. I had no idea it was there. What a lovely xterm. It's in /usr/bin/kvt. So all you have to do is type "kvt "as user. Then I selected Options, terminal, ansi (which give you the most vivid colors), then back to the menu and Color, where you can choose custom colors and if you wish change the font and font size, click on Save Options, exit, come back and there you have it: a full-colored, customized, lovely looking xterm. You type lynx and lynx looks just great, even better than in the console (because you can customize it). An amazing little discovery. By the way, you may be interested to know that you can launch RealPlayer G2 from within Lynx (whether in xterm, konsole or kvt). It's fully supported. Who would have thought. Just tried it. No need for special configuration. Just click on a RealPlayer link. Sounds no different than from within Netscape. And you should see the video! :) Ok, no video, but the audio is all for real! One last thing: You can run Pine in kvt. Now it looks lovely. Just like Lynx. Benjamin -- Benjamin and Anna Sher [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sher's Russian Web http://www.websher.net
