Well, I'm not sure if it was really stuffed up now, or if just kpm was
lying to me. When I ran swapoff -a then swapon -a, top told me my swap
partitions were there and in use, but kpm didn't. I rebooted, using
2.2.13-7mdk instead of -22mdk, and kpm told me my swap file was being
used again. Now I just have to see if I can get the ide patch to work
with my cd drives ;-) I managed to patch and compile the kernel fine,
but linux locked up totally when vmware tried to access my cd-writer on
booting a vm. I've heard that some people have had problems with cd-roms
and the ide patch.
