Hi!

I've tried (for the first time in my life) do use rpm to make a rpm package
(on Mandrake 6.1, ie RPM 3.0.3)

I've setup a .rpmrc file in the home dir of the user I use to make rpm
packages.

Each time, I had "bad option" errors for each line in the file.

I finally reduced the file to this line
packager:My Name <myemail>

I tried in ~/.rpmrc and in /etc/rpmrc

What ever I do, I still have got the message :
bad option packager: in xxxxx

I've tried exactly the same on my old PC, running SuSE 6.0 (RPM 2.x.y), and
I got no errors.

Can you tell me if I'm the only one encountering this problem, and what is
the solution?

Thanks and regards

Mathieu
