We might be able to give a better diganosis if we knew what SCSI card you
have. We might also be able to give better help if we knew at what point
the SCSI drive is not showing up: installation, boot, module installation,
etc.

Have you checked the SCSI HOW-TO?

Most SCSI drivers are available as modules. Are you able to boot to an IDE
drive or floppy? If so have you tried installing the appropriate module?
If not, get tomsrtbt, see if that will boot and see if you can install the
module from there (assuming it is in tomsrtbt). The URL has been mentioned
on this list recently, so you should be able to find it in the archives.
