This is gonna depend on your setup but if you already had dos installed like me
your lilo lilo.conf should look like this. Don't forget to run lilo after you
update your file.
boot=/dev/hda
read-only
prompt
timeout=100
vga=normal
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.13-22mdk
root=/dev/hda6
label=linux
other=/dev/hda1
label=dos
table=/dev/hda
