Hi again....before somebody says, "you left out the 'c' in e2fsck", I'll
correct myself (guess I'm tired). Also I left out the first part of the
error message...sheesh...I sure am tired. Here goes again:
[root@obi-wan /root]# e2fsck -b 8193 sda7
e2fsck 1.15, 18-Jul-1999 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
e2fsck: No such file or directory while trying to open sda7
The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2
filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2
filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193 <device>
[root@obi-wan /root]#
....thats the complete error this time (and I hope without any spelling
errors). I hope someone has some ideas.
