Dear Pj:

To remove the lock, go to your home directory, look for the netscape
directory:

$/home/sher/
ls -la

(this will show ALL of your files and directories, including the hidden
files)

Now cd to .netscape

Now rm "lock".

You can also do this in KFM. Be sure to check under View the option
"Hidden Files".
