I have made a huge
mistake. I was attempting to create more room on the root partition (/dev/hda5)
by moving /usr and /lib to /home/usr /home/lib (/dev/hda7) and then creating an
hard link for the direcories.
/usr went fine link and all. but after moving the /lib and deleting the original
I can no longer use the ln command or very many others for that point because
the lib files cannot be found.
Is there a way of manully telling bash where the libs can be
found?
I am still logged in
remotely two cities away on vacation by telnet. is it going to be possible to be
fixed remotely?
