For the record, Payne, this is a MANDRAKE mailing list....
but since RedHat doesn't appear to be maintaining an active
mailing list, we'll help you anyway. :-)
Second, what are the settings for your floppy in /etc/fstab?
Third, you can right-click on the desktop, select "new" >
Filesystem Device and then change "device.kdelnk" to
"floppy.kdelnk" and go on and edit the settings. It's all
pretty much straight-forward there... I figured it out all
by myself about a year ago when I first started using Linux
(Mandrake 5.3.)
