[expert] lothar question

Trying to install lothar and get this message on my Mandrake 6.1 box.

libnewt.so.0.50 is needed by lothar-etherconfig-0.6.2-4mdk
I get the same for the soundconfig file.
Is lothar for 7.0 only??
