Hello all;
I have a notebook computer with PCMCIA slots. I have also a viking
modem card. When I had the LM 6.0 installed everything worked fine. I
could dial out with KPPP and have no problem. I installed LM 7.0 on
the same computer. Now KPPP does not see the modem. I tried
/dev/ttyS0-3. I get either modem doesnot respond or the modem is busy.
So I reinstalled LM 6.0, and modem works fine. I reinstalled LM 7.0,
it does not work.
Does anybody have any idea as what is going on.
By the way, pcmcia daemon is functioning properly since my ethernet
card works fine when I use the laptop in the office.
