Alan....if you need to ask you probably shouldn't.  With that
said, I've got to say that I'm happy I upgraded.  Actually, I've
never upgraded as I always do a full install of a new distro.  I
believe that's one factor that helps to eliminate at least some
of the problems.  And I never install a new release in place of
my working system, I install it on another partitiion and slowly
migrate over to the new version.  Eventually I delete the old
version.  Here's an interesting tidbit, as of a minute ago there
have been no updates issued yet (according to my desktop Updates
icon), so I guess all of the reported problems must be "operator
error" ;-)
