Guillermo....first off I'm partially of German extraction and
the neatness and compartmentilazation afforded by seperate swap
partitions for each installation appeals to my inborn sense of
esthetics.  Secondly, I have no space problems, so I don't
really care if someone else thinks that it is wasted space.  And
finally, I experienced some problems when I tried sharing swap
space between two installations in the past, which is why the
other two reasons took over and I don't do it any more.  It's
not an important issue with me , at least at this time.
