There will be a Beta 4 which will most likely be the RC.

Why are you disapointed? Mandrake 7.0 is as stable as the 6.1, except for
the GUI install and Supermount. But you can disable Supermount, and use
the standard text install.
The Cooker distribution beta-tested it for over 6 months. Now it was time
for a release, and most reviews are excellent.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know, I will forward them to
the rest of the developers.
