I've got a 2906... according to /proc/pci the controller is AIC-7850, so I
believe I used the AIC7xxx driver.
Our server has been up for about 4 months now, so no problems there.... I use
the SCSI card for a Ecrix VXA-1 tape drive.
I got all of my info from usenet... do a search on deja.com....
