[expert] sequencer

Just question

Has anyone tested in mdk 7.0 "midi-karaoke-player" what comes with
kde?
I have now tried and no succes....When try play a song I get reply,
can't open /dev/sequencer, propably there is another program using it.

?????
Can't figure how to find reason....If you gurus have found solution to this
problem...
Have ever got player working in any distro,allways the same report.
Midi-player works ok,but this midi-karaoke doesn't.

Any help?
