Go to /etc/conf.modules, find the parameters there, and modify them. That's
my Q&D (quick
and dirty) answer.

Subject: [expert] probs with changeover

Alright, I posted here a couple of weeks ago to find out about just moving
my existing parts from 233MHz machine to a new PII 450. Well the 450 was to
be just linux, however I just moved everything into new box, for ease of any
troubleshooting. There are few problems I have found so far.

1) The mouse freezes up a lot

2) All IRQ's have changed on all cards

3) My modem wont work at all

The board is a Gigabyte GA-6BXC

Windows reports system fine, however IRQ's have changed there also.

In linux, my ETH0 is now using irq 3... problem there.
Sound is using irq 5
BOTH com 1 and 2 are using irq 4

This didn't go as smooth as I hoped

How do I reassign IRQ's in linux for all these things??

Thanks,
