Much thanks to the Mandrake team for doing such a fine job with Lothar and the
SBLive autodetection.
I downloaded the smp kernel, source, headers, and the new lothar,
lothar-soundconfig and -etherconfig from the cooker RPM sets.
Running Lothar got the sound right the first time.
But which RPM has the actual "emu10k1.o" module file (I'd like to keep it
up-to-date)?
I've had no problem compiling the latest snapshots from Creative, with the
important caveat that I couldn't get them working. ;) Will compiling and
installing the sources generally work, or mess up Lothar?
